Frequently asked questions

How long should a patient stay on core before adding CoreX?

This is a clinical judgement based on the individual patient. Many practitioners allow two to four weeks on Core before introducing CoreX, watching tolerance along the way.

Can the TBD protocol be used alongside antibiotics or other conventional approaches?

The formulas are designed to be compatible with common approaches such as antibiotics, methylene blue, and Disulfiram. Individual patient circumstances should always guide any combination.

What if a patient experiences a Herxheimer-Type reaction?

Some patients may experience this as microbial load shifts. Many practitioners slow the pace, reduce dosing temporarily, or hold at the current tier rather than stopping. This remains a clinical decision.

How do i decide which symptom support products to add?

Symptom Support is chosen based on what's presenting, such as fatigue, gut symptoms, or liver and biofilm concerns. It isn't a fixed add-on for every patient, only where the clinical picture calls for it.

Does the TBD protocol address Babesia specifically?

Yes, Babesia support is built in from the start. Cryptolepis+ in the Core tier offers broad support for Borrelia, Babesia, and Bartonella, while BAB+ in CoreX provides more targeted Babesia support where a patient's co-infection profile calls for it.
